What is retrograde ejaculation?
Retrograde ejaculation is a condition semen flows backward into the bladder due to failure of the bladder neck muscles to close properly, this is called “retrograde ejaculation”. Uncommonly, retrograde ejaculation can be partial. this condition may be associated with decreased ejaculate volume or no ejaculate. A man may suffer from infertility due to this condition.Retrograde ejaculation isn’t harmful, but it can cause male infertility.
Causes of retrograde ejaculation (No ejaculation or delayed ejaculation):
Several factors could bring about retrograde ejaculation like:
- Stress
- Neurological disorders
- Urinary tract and prostate infections
- Diabetes that can effect the nerve connections
- Prostate surgery is one of the most common cause
- Taking drugs prescribed for heart disease and hypertension.
