Types of S.T.D (Sexual transmitted diseases):

  • Gonorrhea: Gonorrhea you get it by having oral, anal or vaginal sex with someone who had gonorrhea, In women, the infection usually starts in the cervix or the throat. In men, it starts in the urethra (the tube in the penis through which urine is passed). is caused by a bacterium, Neisseria gonorrhea, Symptoms of gonorrhea usually appear 2 – 5 days after the sexual intercourse with the infected partner, Some people do not have symptoms. Many women who are infected have no symptoms of the disease. Men, on the other hand, are more likely to show symptoms
  • Chlamydia:Chlamydia is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases , It is a bacterial infection of your genital tract that spreads easily through sexual contact. You may not know you have Chlamydia because the signs and symptoms of pain and fluid discharge don’t show up right away. Many people experience no signs and symptoms.
  • Genital Herpes: In most cases, there are no signs of an infertility problem. Intercourse, erections and ejaculation will usually happen without difficulty. The quantity and appearance of the ejaculated semen generally appears normal to the naked eye
  • Genital Warts: Genital Wart occur on the vulva, vagina and cervix in women and on the penis in men, its a strain of HVP (Human Papilloma Virus). warts are usually soft, moist, minute pink or gray polyps (raised lesions) that enlarge, may become pedunculated, have rough surfaces, and may occur in clusters and it may cause you itching, burning, or discomfort

Prevention:

  1. Use condoms every time you have intercourse.
  2. Limit the number of sex partners.
  3. An infected person can pass the virus even when they have no visible infection, so using protection such as condoms is always important.
  4. Avoid sex altogether in case you or your partner have open sores or outbreak of herpes in and around your mouth, genital area or anywhere else.
